Evaluate your clothes. Start adding smart looking pieces to your wardrobe.
Looking smart requires emphasizing quality over quantity and selecting a few top quality key pieces, such includes a great jacket and pants set. Pants and jeans: Look for pants which are tailored and fit you well long, in the waist and in overall fit. They could be stylish and trendy. Provided that they can fit you appear that you took time in putting the outfit together. Choose jeans that suit appropriately. If they're really long you need to wear heels (ladies) or ask them to altered. No body looks smart in hugely over sized jeans that drag the ground. You look as you found a couple of pants and didn't care should they fit.
For the guys, non-baggy corduroys or khakis are good, and in the summertime, khaki shorts.
Tops: T-shirts are fine but avoid controversial or rude graphics. Avoid grossly over sized shirts. Begin looking for shirts with social messages, vintage rock bands and smart comments.
Make sure the shirts are within your interest. You never want someone to ask about your message and you not know what it means. It's fine to wear your chosen band shirts but dress them up with a blazer which means you transform it into your look and not appear as if you've emerged from the Hot Topic yard sale. Don't wear t-shirts all the time and should you choose you need to top it with a blazer, and accessorize with a belt and appropriate shoes.
